The hose reel arrived this morning....and with impeccable timing, the first spots of rain began to fall....

Please be patient - your turn will come (and then you may need to get out that hovercraft):-rofl2
Hope so - the ground is rock hard and the garden needs more than a cursory wave of a watering can.

Somewhere in England (possibly?)!
Hope so - it is raining now, but not so much that the water butt is filling. Plants are happy, though.

Unfortunately, I was not at home when this happened. Neighbor said he did not see something like it before and was very afraid. All small stuff were flying all around. Wind broke the big brunch of the oak and demolished the greenhouse. Luckily, antenna survived (all of them). There are also lots of broken trees all around.
Greenhouse.... well, anyway I was going to take it down as I need the space for new antenna

Not sure that 'like' is appropriate.

How are the other properties nearby in terms of damage ?

Around here we have had only heavy rain and lightning this month, the windy storms so far have been rare.

No problem with that. If I like it, you can like it as well :D
Asked neighbors, almost all of them have some broken fruit-trees. Lots of big trees are broken here and there. But further, I have heard about flying roofs (that I would sure not like).

You appear to have a heatwave as well in the region

32 to 34 degrees in the daytime, not good.

In fact, we have such a heat wave for almost 1 month already. This summer is something special- the hottest summer in history. Need lots of beer to survive.
Added one month graph of temps ScreenHunter 39.jpg

Condolences to those affected in Northern Europe this week.

Some friends have travelled to Chimay for the classic road racing to find the campsite closed and today's practice racing cancelled.
