Whilst tomorrow morning is going to be a washout, next Thursday sees the arrival of Lorenzo, currently a category 3.

Lorenzo should have reduced to a tropical storm by the time it reaches land, just.

Currently the outer diameter of the associated weather formation is upwards of 1100 miles.

The Azores is going to get a visit on Tuesday evening, a wbcam link from Santa Maria.

Mother in law said she will come. So I decided to make some open air Habanero paper spiced BBQ ribs. Surprisingly she did like them, she even liked my moonshine ....strange! Should I try to prepare for her some poison mushrooms?
Like in that anecdote: Why did you mother in law died? She ate a lot of poison mushrooms! But why she has blue eye and broken arm? She did not want to eat them! :Y
But, in fact, I think this was last BBQ I made this season. :(

Back down to a cat3, but Scotland should prepare, as should 2cv and his shed.

Well, the shed survived with it's old roof "removed" for two years, so, we shall see how it fares with it's new roof and the custom 2" lift kit... :-rofl2

Heck, the one side is weighed down with plenty heavy goods, so it ain't going anywhere fast, well, the floor won't be at least...

The temperature's certainly going down, that's a given, might have to put on some socks at this rate...

Today's temperatures are to do with other weather patterns, there's still two days before it arrives.
There have been suggestions snow could make an appearance this week.

Some computer models are still predicting the Atlantic jet stream will shift the hurricane back on track to middle England.

I could, but I'd look a right banana in a high & dry shed, given where I live it'd take a flood of biblical proportions to make a mess here... :-rofl2

I heard the typical wave expected in the Azores tonight exceeds 19m. Flores and Corvo are likely to be impacted the worst.

Somewhere in England (possibly?)!
Been thundering and raining very heavily here over the last half-hour or so, but now seems to be moving on!

I have landed a massive (well bigger than the usual portion) plaice for tonight. I've had to get the special pan out.
