BBC 60 km South of Rome, Italy

Is there any (good?) news about receiving the BBC south of Rome in Italy. We can only get Ch4 and 5 and Radio 2.

Italian TV is not all that...

The normal advice is either " forget it" or "move further north!"

Wait and see what turns up on the BBC Astra 2A transponder - you never know, something worthwhile may turn up.

Crikey, we must be pretty close to each other here, I'm south of Rome too!
No good news on the 2D front though except to say that a well known Irish pub in Rome, Finnegans, claims on their web site to have the BBC.......must check it out!

I talked to the owner of Finnegans; the website is out dated, it is still when we used to get BBC on Astra 2A two years ago.

You are very lucky (or very well equipped in terms of dish size, of course) to be able to get ch 4 (and 5). Do you get them regularly 24/7? What dish size ?

No problems with either channel here Max with 1.25m offset dish and Invacom LNB.
