Pace DS430N and Freesat HD box, 1.20 dish

Can we set in stone for anyone who is about to ask that this new venture does NOT mean the BBC and ITV etc will remove themselves from the Sky EPG, merely that they are going to provide, to quote their blurb, an "additional" means of accessing their services? Sky watchers therefore do NOT need to buy another receiver to see these channels? Or I have I got this completely wrong?

Technomate 5402 HD M2 Ci, DM7000s, Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Promax HD Ranger+ spectrum analyser.

It's all pretty vague at the moment, I would be very surprised if they removed themselves from the Sky EPG, as ITV tried without it and suffered.

Satlook nit colour + Horizon hdsm.

But they are still staying at 28.2E right?

The BBC ITV etc WILL NOT be leaving 28E - They certainly arent going to throw 8 million potential viewers away! All BBC Freesat is in effect is new non Sky equipment and channels not tied to the Sky epg.
