Since this change occurred (and the transponder(?) change to BBC 1 HD, instead of the previously perfect reception I am getting (sometimes severe) pixelation and artefacts on these 2 channels - despite 90-100% signal strength and 100% quality. Even a slight shower of rain makes things worse, although the effect on the signal strength is only minor (e.g. down to 80%).

Setup: Foxsat HDR, location SW France, 80cm dish.

Reception of ITV HD and Channel 4 HD is unaffected.

All suggestions gratefullly received!

Firstly, you need to check that the dish is properly aligned and especially that the skew of the LNB is optimised. Then look at the cable to see if it's old or water has ingressed.

After that I would suggest that you might need a larger dish. But I would also advise you wait until 2F is in position as this will replace 1N (the satellite that carries the majority of the Freesat channels) and you may need a larger dish again and you would be spitting feathers if you'd only just bought one!
