Can you take a picture of it and post it here, as whilst it is possible to repair dishes, the larger they are, the more difficult it is.

DM800HD, DM7000 80GB HD with Asus WL330 wifi + 2GB usb drive, Skystar2.3, 2.2m Kinhuge Dish with Inverto LNB and Invacom ADF-120 feedhorn. Pace 1.3.25 and 80cm for Sky.

Generally a 1m dish dented around the edges will probably work slightly better than say an 80cm dish (so long as it is just dents and not creased accross the whole dish).

If it is dented around the edges, it also may be warped.

Warped dishes aren't fixable, it's tensions within the metal that goes everywhere, if you fix one side the tensions will move on to some other part of the dish being warped.

If it's steel, I'd take my chances with a good panel beating hammer, a block of wood behind it, & watch the sig. display on the go anywhere portable telly..................................but I know my place:)

I watched the guy who taught me take a dent out of an MG TD front wing without even cracking the paint...................awesome.

..Oops sorry, wrong hobby:)

Dents and bumps are another thing you can not compare with being warped.

Warpage is not fixable, dents and bumps are fixable to 95%

Until we've seen the damage, nobody will know, can you not take a picture as I asked in an earlier post?
