With Invacom not making C120 LNBs anymore I am getting a bit worried about what to do if one of my systems starts to have problems. Both have aging C120 LNBs one a twin and one quad - what are people recommending as replacements for use in Spain on larger dishes - i.e. 1.9 or 2.4m?

Maybe you need to think how to adjust any LNB to C120 flange?

A little less analogue, and a lot more crap.

The fault withmost LNBs I have had to replace is often down to a failure of the polarity switching rather than the signal detection. So , find a way of twisting what you have through 90 degrees on a channel by channel basis.

How do you find them compared to your previous flange lnbs
Is single Inverto better than twin
I find out that sigle Inverto BU Is very good on V pol

Maybe you need to think how to adjust any LNB to C120 flange?

TBH, I do not know. I've sent them to friend of mine and waiting for feedback from him.

Inverto has a reputation for failing quicker than other designs.

Having said that I do have a couple of singles and twin C120 in reserve for the inevitable.

With a void in the market there is always an opportunity for a start up business, I have noticed a few outlets are beginning to stock MTI manufactured single and twin LNBs with C120 again after a long time asleep (well over 10 years).

Since the install of my 2.4m PF dish here, I've searched a lot for a proper C120 LNB 4 outputs, no local installer or store had one, the ones I could find, dealer was asking more than I payed for the dish and no guarantee what time could take to delivery.

Maybe you need to think how to adjust any LNB to C120 flange?

I always wanted to make one of those with a quad LNBF, I guess I never bothered too much because even with a 'mismatched' LNBF in that dish signal is pretty good.

It seems a huge number of people are going to need a C120 LNB when their current ones start to fail. Most installations I know of in the Javea and Valencia areas are using either Quad or Quatro Invacoms or sometimes dual Invacoms or single Inverto pros. It is the lack of 4 output devices that is going to be the biggest issue and many expats using these systems are quite elderly so DIY conversions may not be a suitable option for them - thus there is possibly a real opportunity for a sat company to supply converted LNBS ready for use! or for those able to cope, issue detailed instructions and kits for converting an LNB. Maybe one of our "local" contributors would like to respond!

There are at least a couple of Spanish dealers on eBay selling Inverto twin flange LNBs

i have one c120 quad and i dont think its better than my other inverto black ultra 0.2db i would like to rebuilt like in the pictures in first posts when i replace the offset for the prime focus i will check.
i have also other c120 but for offset i think is still worse than the other 2 its seems more pixels and quality picture not so good as inverto,

Adopted couple more LNBs (twin and quad) for the same guy. He did not report yet about performance. I think he is just preparing to perform some tests. BTW, in a same way it is possible to fit PFA feedhorn to the same LNBs.
