As per subject really... anyone (@Feedsat_DXer / @cardiff ) with Laminas 1.8m dish know of the best combination of LNB and/or feedhorns? Currently, a GI LNB seems to be providing the best quality signal - better than a IBU for sure.

Have you tried a CM feedhorn with a C120 LNB Alex? worked well on my 1.2 Laminas/Fraccaro

In my case, the best LNB for the Laminas (I have tested dozen and dozen) is the Octagon Twin PLL OTLO, the IBU are good in single version, which is a PLL LNB, not for twin or quad but I prefer the Octagon, more linear on the complete KU band ferequency range and a better cross polar.
The Invacom (not PLL) give best result on the Channel Master with the Raven feedhorn, not on the Laminas.

Soon I will receive a new Quad LNB PLL but already available on the market, just for testing, I'm waiting...

@scopus - I have tried it but I didn't seem to get the best results from it in conjunction with Invacom LNB.
@Feedsat_DXer - thanks, I will see if I can get that. Have you tried the GI-212 LNB?

Ordered the Octagod - let's see what it's like. Apparently, it's 3D compatible :)

If the LNB is as good as reported, perhaps it's an appropriate name? ;)

Yes, but, just imagine the reception when you get home from work!

Certainly better than the Inverto, about a dB there. Not tried the CM feed horn yet with a C120, but the weight aspect of that feed is putting me off for now with the changer.
