Hello,

I am having some trouble with a week channel with polartity V on my Sat system.

I use a Titanium .1 lnb
Triax TD110 folding arm dish
Technomate TM-5400 CI+

alligned to Hellas Sat @ 39degress.

The channel in question is PIK with the following parameters

11146 V
S/R 3333-3/4

I have read some posts about tweaking the arm and lnb .. I have tried scewing the lnb to maximum affect but on a bad day the results are not good.

Can anyone advise on this? Is there a means to find the optimum focal point and find tune?

Harry

That channel is causing a lot of problems, some receivers simply don't like the Symbol Rate of 3333, a TD110 should easily pull in enough signal, but you could try skewing the LNB slightly more, about 20 to the hour from behind the LNB towards the dish.

Slight mis-alignment was also the cause of two I recently came across where Riksat wasn't being received.

Not quite aligned to the satellite. In your case it's probably ok but something to consider.
