here what ive done today :)

i decided, that in time for tonights Man U vs Arsenal game, i would get English commentry on TPS Star :D

what a mission lol

anyway, after trying to unsuccesfully copy radio PIDs and save them as an extra audio feed on the said channel, i decided that internet streaming was the way forward....

i added the dreamnetcast plugin on the Dreambox and edited the stations.xml file to pickup a stream from 5live through VLC.... wouldnt work.. although i could get http://www.bbc.co.uk/fivelive/live/live.asx to save as a streaming C:\5live.pls file and then play it... my dreambox couldnt find a path to my C: drive??? limitations of the dreamnetcast player i think.

So i then joined shoutcast making my own radio station :D .... anyway apart from attracting a few listeners with my cool rock music and wit (and getting slightly side tracked hehhe) i then routed 5live through my new station and put the stream address into the stations.xml file on the dreambox <sigh> are you still with me....

although it worked in principle... i could here it on the TV along with watching the TV channel.... it didnt work, Shoutcast has up 90 secs delay in broadcasting, add to that the slight delay that all the re routing of the 5live broadcast had... it made it a complete wate of time.

:( shame really, thought i was onto something O-st

Hello and beer relate to Chelsea, whilst goodbye and toilet relate to Arsenal...

Great effort reddevil, sync was always gonna be the prob. You could route it all through your pc and delay the video feed to be in time with the audio? Going too far, I dunno, how desperate are ya?

Had a season Ticket at United for 12 years.... then i bought a house got married and had kids!!! what a year that was.....
when the renewal came through, i was skinter than a skint thing. and let the ticket go :(
wish i had borrowed the money now..... or lent it out for a year.

last time i asked, the waiting list was 7 years .... that was 3 years ago.
it put me off even applying.... so i bought a dreambox instead :D

^-)^^j vs ^__jj-^(^ and im f.cked if i know what that means!!
dunno, but i know what the "vs" in the middle means :)

tell you what though, another few years of watching football on these channels and my French, Turkish and Arabic will be coming on a treat :D
