Can you please help out an amatuer.
I have both a blue and a black ice. I am thinking abouting buying a subs. card. The cards are either Irdeto or Viaccess.
I know the blue and the black both support these encryptions, but I am unsure whether they do so out of the box or whether you have to use a funcard to switch these features on.
If you do have to use a funcard, is there a way to tell in the CAM menu on my receiver to see if it has already been done. If I check now, it does allow me to choose ALL, IRD, VI etc?
