British Eurosport.

With the (soon to be)demise of analogue tv on astra 19, it looks like I've got to succumb to handing over cash to Mr Murdoch to watch my eurosport.
As I'm not really interested in any other sports channels I was wondering what the cheapest way of getting this was.
The cheapest I can find seems to be £15 amonth.
A lot of cash for one channel, especially as my whole analogue set up didn't cost that much in total!!!!!!

Just been looking at S*y website.
I'd be more than happy if I could just have the news package for the £7.50 but of course their minimum is 2 packages. None of the othersare of any real interest to me.
S'pose I'll just have to make the most of analogue while it lasts.


On a totally different note, I'm holding you totally responsible for mine and the missus's obsession with Eurosport.
It was after stumbling across your website we talked a tv engineer friend into donating an old receiver.
We've been hooked ever since.

Eurosport is probably safe until the end of 2008.

NOW is the time for everyone who enjoys analogue ES to be emailing them & demanding a digital version on 19E in English once the analogue version goes.

(Virtually every event live, compared to the feeble offering on BBC's ski Sunday........NO CONTEST)
Plus: Live moto gp, live tennis, live snooker,etc, etc.

FTA Eurosport is a good channel. There must be quite a few thousand old analogue installations still going just for Eurosport. Its probably the station I get asked the most questions about from the website.

BTW theres a good chance the fta 19E digital Eurosport will be forced to encrypt from 2009:mad: - along with most of the other fta digital services
