Never really looked into it Stick, I believe there are download limits with most of the sat internet companies of about 1 gig a month, any suggestions or is best to wait 4-5 months for BB ?

You get unlimited download cap @ Irishbroadband.ie via Satellite @ around €35 per mt.
I know you cant get that one where you are but have a look around your area. You have to be within 6k of an mast though. Couldnt wait myself spent a fortune with Eircom with ISDN line and then got it taken out when i got my bill. Have utv broadband now, double the eircom cap and
free for 4 mts. Then €30 a month from then on, not bad.

:confused What's that all about then? I thought the page requests etc. went via your standard phone line at 56K? Why does it matter where you are?

Also, I assume that with sat. broadband, there is no long-term contract?

Don't really know m8, but at the price you quote, it's gotta be worth investigating!

Its only if you get broadband without a phone line, you have to be within 6k of the feeder mast. Works great I believe.
