Following my mood of pure elation after purchasing and installing my monoblock, it has stopped working.
My LNB1 (Hotbird) gives no signal quality, but the Astra one does work.

Do these things break? What do any of you think are the odds of a refund from an eBay seller?

I'm quite gobsmacked that it only lasted for 2 weeks.:-doh!

Point 1 I am sorry to hear that it no longer works
Point 2 It is unusual for any electronic equipment to fail unless it is being expected to work in an environment that it is not designed for. i.e. were the F connectors insulated using self amalgamating tape?? #
Point 3 refund forget it from my experience
Point 4 did you do enough to protect the equipment upon installation that would have made it last more than 2 weeks???

Well, I installed the thing just as I installed my original single lnb over a year ago. I'm always careful to insulate the connections too. As the off-set lnb still functions I'm wondering of there has been a switch failure inside? Does that sound possible or just stupid?
