I was noseying through the Dyson education part of their website, and I came accross the design based on James Dyson's original prototype (minus the old vacuum), it's basic compared to their range of cleaners, but it's a start... 
I think it needs A3 paper/card, but 2x A4 and a bit of sellotape would make it A3...
I'm going to have a go too with one of my Kirbys...
