A couple of days ago before I went in for tea I installed my C Band LNB on my 100cm Dish. Not expecting to get anything I was surprised to get a signal from 27.5 West.
3936L+ R 4549 1.2 6.3dB.
Today I looked at the East Satellites got nothing until I got to 49 East.then got
4147R 1150 5.5 dB.
Not listed.Probably from somewhere else.:)EDIT .Just noticed that my longitude in EBSPro is set to 1.5 East not my proper one 1.5 West.
the LNB has not been set up properly I just set it up approx.

Try 40E if you can see that part of the arc - Ive had some success on 20E as well on a 1m

Thanks Chris.I think that it is 46E Chris. My longitude on EBSPro was set to 1.5 East Should be 1.5 West.It comes in ok on 46 East with the correct longitude set in EBSPro.

No I got nothing there Analougesat.not surprising though I only guessed where the LNB should.be.No plate in either.I need to get up the ladder to fine tune the LNB.Problem is climbing the ladder dose my knees in.I think that I need to get a ground mount.:)

Yes you will need a plate in for 40E - and make sure you arent looking for the multi-stream stuff.

Get a gibi 1.25 on a ground mount.

While down the garden today.I inserted the plate verticaly.Scanned 40 and 20 East.
Got six transponders on 40 East. One on 20 East.I will leave the plate as it is today and try it the other way tomorrow. Both my longitude and the LNB need adjusting they will have to wait for a nice warm dull day.

You have the bug now! Give 40W a go, I am sure you'll lock one or two transponders there.

Yes it has got me going again.I scanned the west satellites last night got a few transponders. In spring I loose 45 and 40 West in spring when the leaves come on the ash trees two gardens up. Hopefully they will be back in the autumn.I need to adjust the Dish and LNB to get a bit more signal.
