camd3 vs. newcamd

I've just changed to camd3 to allow me to record encrypted channels. That seems to be it's only redeeming feature- never had any probs with newcamd but with camd3 the pciture keeps freezing when watching (not recording).
One more time and I'm going back to camd3....'O'-red

Yeah, fair enough. camd3 is probably no. 1 ATM, but whatever works for you.

Have you tried the PLi Diamond image? More efficient emu handling so they claim.

I'm experimenting with it at the moment, seems to work well. Interesting that with CamD3 I can't watch the stream on my PC, but I can with NewcamD. Both work well though.

;) Don't know what version of camd3 you are using, but I have returned to v.3829 after later versions gave the above problem. After reinstall, no problems (DB7000).

I have found that in the past with camd3. The latest version is not necessarly the best. Try a few and when you find one that works keep it until there's a big change.

I seem to remember changing when Taquilla popped up, but I can never remember which numbers I was using.
