Hi all

I am thinking about getting a pack of 3 DECT phones (one for each room) I have heard that they can interfere with DSAT, is this true and to what extent?

Cheers.

Yes they can, there are several threads which mention this. They normally only interfere with channels having an Intermediate Frequency of similar frequency though.

My own experience, using Hotbird, Turksat and Hispasat, is that I have a problem with one frequency only (Multivision channels on Hotbird), and this only at certain times of the day (presumably when the signal isn't so strong). Picture breaks up. So I unplug my DECT phone and then it's OK. The main advantage is that the wife has to go to another room to use an ordinary phone for her interminable chatting......:-rofl2
