My Satellite Setup
I use DM500s
PC:os XP sp2
My Location
Bahrain
Hell all:
I have a Dm 500s with c/s ...
I can stream it on my PC and also control the channels using web-interface by intering 192.168.***.*** in the browser.
My question is :Can the man who sold me my DM c/s also see what channel I'm showing using web-interface from his home?

Only if you have opened port 80 on your router and forwarded it to your Dreambox. Depending on the software involved on his sever he may be able to see the provider that your Dreambox has requested the keys for.

If you're using CCcam don't forward port 16001 in your router and set a web username/ password in CCcam.cfg

If you are using ccam then yes he may be able to tell - I had a chance to experiment with cccam c/s a while back and the lad at the other end could tell me what channel i was watching :D

Well I use "mgcamd 1.30"
Port 80 is the one
and I use Port 4000 to record from DM to PC with NGrabLite .
