I have a Viaccess cam from around 4-5 years ago. I remember there was talk of Viaccess II being the next new thing. I suspect my cam is Viaccess I.
Can I use it? Will it still decrypt any of the cards I may want to purchase or has Viaccess II superceded it?

Thanks in advance.

A little less analogue, and a lot more crap.

I do have customers still using the Black CAMS on ART official cards, so I would test it first before consigning it to the bin.

I'm really thinking about the 'Adult ART' Cards;) Is that what you mean?

Thanks for your reply.

If it is a black CAM then it won't work, see http://www.lefdata.com/satellite/cam/ci.html
It is a Black CAM. Seems this makes it as useful as an ashtray on a motorbike:-doh!

Is there any point trying to flog it on Ebay, would it be useful to anyone now or should I start a CAM museum?:)

Try it on the card of your choice first. You never know
