I was thinking of buy a Viaccess cam and am wonder what is the diff between Red and Black cams.

Seems black is 1st gen but can be flash to Crypto or Conax?

Red is 2nd gen and work better?

We no have any official Viaccess in my country it is hard to get this type info.

Any help appreciated.

Unfortunately TSD, you've probably got as much information as there is available, can't see much point in buying a black cam if its only to flash it to something else, but certainly if you are looking at using official ViaII cards, then the red cam is the one to go for.

look better to get red.

best use MM for experiment CA software.
