Have recently been having problems getting Sirius (5E) so this morning I installed a new motor (Stab HH120) and using my mates receiver (also a TM1000D) and using USALS I found every sat I wanted including Sirius.

I then put my receiver back in and guess what I found every sat I wanted from 53 east through to 30 west, except Sirius.
The motor stops at Sirius but the receiver picks up nothing.

Please don't say factory reset, Technomate update, DiSEqC 1.2 as I've done them all.
My receiver picks up everything except Sirius, WHY! :D

Sorry, are you saying that with your mates box driving the dish round to 5E, you plug your box in afterwards without moving the dish and get nothing ??

God your quick L,

As it happens didn't do it like that because I thought I had cracked problem (shows how much I know).

I used his receiver last week to receive Russian channels that my machine could not get. As it happens it was on Hispasat at the time, but it is not a bad idea and will try it tomorrow when I remove wife from TV. O-Ha

Might have to do a "loop through" my mates receiver to my one tomorrow.
Now as this is my first attempt would I be right in thinking that I need to come out of "loop out" in my mates machine to LNB input in mine. :-rofl2

I bet your machine has just forgotten where 5E is and needs to be 're-educated' once your mates box puts the dish there.
