Can't send Firmware to receiver, please help

Hi

I have a rebadged AF1700E, however when I tried to send files all I got was "waiting to connect to ack" or something like that.

Basically it was not communicating with the reciver. I bought a standard 9 Pins V.24 Serial Cable Female/Female from Maplin Electronics, see below:

Have tried in in WIndows 98 and XP still no luck?

Any idea anyone?

You normally wait for that message then switch the receiver to standby then on again to begin uploading or downloading. Well you do with mine
