Simple question. Is it possible to clone a SKY sub card?

Why? I recently had a power failure that, once sorted, must have damaged my sub card; i.e., no clever tricks would get the box and card to work together. )(-red Calls to Call Centres resulted in a new card being sent out (now received and working fine).

So, cloning. I am not at all talking about hacking, cracking, jerking or free-loading - just a simple back-up of my sub card that is married to my box: (so I don't have a week's viewing buggered-up again).

Have Fun,

Mark.

No, Sky cards cannot be cloned.

Try reading them in anything other than a digibox and whatever you manage to extract won’t work (at all) and the original card may deactivate in the process :(
