Just been looking at the Carlisle Utd web site and seeing the effects of the awful floods that hit Carlisle last week.

According to the BBC web site the water was up to the crossbar of the goalposts! :(

Seems they are covered by their insurance. I thought the insurance company would be claiming 'Force Majeur'.

Good point, although if the insurance company wriggled out of it, it would almost certainly put Carlisle out of business, & that wouldnt look good on them I guess?

Got to say that I would not have expected them to payout, perhaps they didn't have room to print the SMALL PRINT on the documents
