I know that the programme isnt available on a FTA receiver, but the strength/quality readings were very handy when I was setting up a dish.Have they now been deliberately "hidden" from FTA receivers?.:(

I don't see how, but it would probably be ignored when looking for just FTA channels. They might have altered the FTA "data flag". Have you tried directly entering the transponder details?

yup!-12304H 27500-2/3-Universal lnb.I have tried on 3 diff.makes of FTA boxes.:( . 2 diff.Sky boxes show 40% quality. Strange thing that Ive noticed recently, is that it is now possible to capture some of Skys output using diff.FEC nos(on the same transponder),whereas before they would only come in using one specific FEC no. :confused .

That's curious, only 1 fec value should work (obviously).

Well, will try my own non-Sky receiver, and see what happens, but tomorrow!
