channel 4 hd??

Hi Bob ..
I'm using my FTV card with a diablo cam in one of the cam slots..
The cam was flashed with Horizons ..I think it was version 1.4

this is for all the post who can,t see the difference hd and sd i suggest you take the time and go to your local tv shop and have good look at hd picture and at sd picture ;; free hd for all

I have. Bog all difference, and some of the big tellies gave me a headache after a couple of minutes as well

As part of my research I did find our Tesco had all the HD tellies fed by rf connections from a splitter box - its amazing what you can find out by poking around the back of display tvs!

So does this suggest all the HD tv's Ive looked at are incredibly badly set up? ;)

Horizons is a card reading only firmware which is flashed to the diablo cam..replacing underworld or stealth ..
To do this you need access to a cas interface ...which is a programmer capable of re-flashing cams etc...

Most Supermarkets are clueless when it comes to displaying large screen TV's to best effect ..
Most will have only Freeview displayed ..
Freeview is not exactly famous for good resolution images ..
Like a blown up photgraph ..the action of expanding the image to fill the viewing area ..results in a poor picture ..
..The dots ...(in this case the pixels) just become more obvious..
High def Tv's should only be judged when displaying Hi Def images.
