Channel changing via RS-232 port.

Basically I'd like to automate the changing of channels of my Humax receivers via my PC.

Is it possible to control the Humax receivers (I have a 5400 and F1-VACI) via the RS-232 port? I know (and have used) the port to upload new firmware and organise channels, but haven't seen any software to control the normal operation of these boxes. Is it possible? Has someone written a program, if not where could I get the info necessary to write one myself?

Thanks.

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 06-Apr-02 AT 08:45 AM (GMT)]There is apparently now some software available to work with the 5400, whether it will work with any other models which are not all tested.

This will work via the standard nulmodem connection

PS. As with all non original software, there is a risk when using it and you agrre to that risk when installig/using it.
