For 4.6.2 onwards.

Just unzip into c:\progdvb\channels.

Comments welcome.

nice work lancelot,:)
the only trouble i can see is that not everybody has the capacity to get all them sats,
maybe you could trim the list occordingly where by depending on your dish size etc you have a choice of say 4 options (channel.zips) that way some one whose using a porty potty can use minimum, and some one who has access to seti can use maximum,
just a thought,
maybe you can do a poll as to see if size does matter:D

As you know, they will come out as tabs on the ProgDvb screen.
In theory it could be split, but lots of work involved for differing locations and dish sizes.
So just choose your sat by tab, and any you can't get on that sat are out of reach or not transmitting.
(it's only 350Kb)

But have a go for your location, and edit and add to yours accordingly. Will be interesting to see the different additions/subtractions between the two.

I've have a problem. When I unzip the file into the Channels folder, starting up the Progdvb, an error appears, and automatically closes it 'O'-red . But without any content on this folder it works properly...
My current version is: 4.48.2

Ah.... You need 4.62.6 or later (the ones with the ProgDVB engine) to use it.

Would love to see one for feeds but i guess that would be a lot of time and effort and then the feeds would probably disappear just as quick. I like the channel.zip excellent thanks and yes channel lists for each sat would be nice but its no big deal just changing the satellite tabs at bottom of progdvb really isnt too much of a problem for me anyway :)

Thanks Lancelot,

Its a very useful list.

Also, related to feeds, would you please be able to advise me how to add the parameters for a feed to the list. There is a feed on 1W that is regular and I wish to add it to the list so that it is picked up when I scan the satellite?

Alternatively, can I scan for a channel manually in ProgDVB when it is open so that it scans the one chosen frequency that is not present in the channel lists?

I have ProgDVB 4.80.1 but have only used it for scanning a full list on a satellite. I have not used it for scanning individual freqencies not in the channel lists.

Regards

You can add the transponder(s) manually by opening up the .ini file for the satellite you want using notepad and saving it again, or if the transponder is live when you are on it you click in ProgDVB on 'Channel List', 'scan transponder', then alter the parameters you need to then click on 'scan'.
