Definitely, requires a 36v motor.

Hi rolfw, and everyone!

I've had more than a year gap with satellites. now back with lot to catch up..

I've seen H-H motor advertised as "JACK21 Manhattan H-H 120 DisEqC up to 1.2m dish" Are they 36v motors? I thought there were between 12v - 18v
Can this motor drive the Triax1.1 which I'm looking to get as soon as my Sony32" tv arrives sometime tomorrow or near future.

a lot of DisEqC motors say they will take a 1.2m dish, but with the current weather and what i've read elsewhere of the demise of many motors with only 90cm dishes on, i wouldnt think of putting anything more than 90 on a DisEqC motor. in fact i've got plans already (for later in the year, once i'm settled in with this stuff) to replace my dish and motor with a slightly larger one and 36v positioner.

Thats the best way to go, however without seeing which polarmount is being offered, the 12 inch motor may not be large enought to get the satellites on the whole arc.

The CM 1.2m polarmount requires the 18 inch to get 70 degrees of coverage
