I have been offered a large dish at a reasonable price. Problem is that I have never heard of a Channel master in Prime Focus form? He tells me that it is fiber glass and has a polar mount attached. Has anyone seen one of this type before?

A little less analogue, and a lot more crap.

Channel Master made a 1.8m dish in four pieces.
Not the best reflector in the world, but at least it is fibreglass, and will work well in cold and hot weather.
But the photograph is not a Channel Master, but most likely an IRTE (silver coloured feed arms and a decent sized feedhorn), and if so, bite their hand off.
A picture of the back-end of the dish would help immensely.
