I'd take a London Pride or a proper IPA any day.

You have a decent taste of ales, London Pride is up there with the best of them. I think the best one I ever found was Batemans XXX, only once managed to locate some years ago on one of them "real ale jollies" but it was possibly the nicest one I have tasted. I am not sure if Batemans brewery is still going or if they have been absorbed by another brewer.

If your ever in Sheffield/I think you can buy kegs bottles from here over the net, give some of these a go, crawled out of here a few times in my younger days drinking 8/9% beers hik. Bradfield brewery also have some nice ales,

Ive not had a beer now for over 4 months I could murder one at times.

Are those prices inclusive of VAT @ 20% or exclusive of VAT?
What is a back plate, I thought they had a circular mounting ring on them?

That 2.4m looks cheap enough if the price includes VAT.
One point about the 2.4m antenna, they use a different size rear mounting ring to the one used on the 1.2m to 2.2m range.

Hello everyone. Hope you don't mind me posting. Just to clarify ... yes it is a back ring on these reflectors not a plate. The back (mounting) ring sizes do change at these diameters. Normally we supply 1.5, 1.8, 2.0, 2.4m dia as standard sizes. We do not normally keep many in stock apart from the smaller 0.9m and 1.2m reflectors. Instead we build to order, but this does not make any difference to the price.

Also the prices I quoted are all ex VAT. If I get a minute I'll check in back on this forum, but its better if you have any questions to direct them to sales@elite-antennas.com as its monitored by more staff and you will get a quick response usually.

Well ... we dont get much call for a 2.2m, so its not a 'standard', but generally we're happy to spin to these sizes ...

Your not having one and that's final. Get back in your box and behave yourself.
But ..... you might need one of these on the front if you do ..

Hi Julian, here's my old 1.5 I was telling you about, as you can see the mount is still like new, as soon as I get the funds together I will be back in touch, it will probably be after Christmas now.

Ok, great. Look forward to hearing from you again. Nice paint job on the dish too! We normally powdercoat ours RAL9010 for a good robust finish.

Thank you, I will just want bare bones as mentioned in our telephone conversation, that was just the undercoat, I will be making another mount similar to this one for the new Elite dish while I am saving up :).

... it's just a radome Martin, gives a bit more weather & general protection for sub reflector or the goodies underneath depending on which type of dish.

Anyway, strong gusty winds forecast for our region around dinner time when i will be out , so chained the 1.8 down for a bit of peace of mind
