A little less analogue, and a lot more crap.

A boxed and brand spanking new 6033 Polarmount from Channel Master.

I have no idea what I could do with it, so its up for grabs, the worth is in the installation though.

If anyone has a decent PC card for DVB-S2 reception then I could be interested in swopping.

Pictures in next message, based in KT8 Hampton Court.

I have, but I was hoping to barter for another piece of equipment rather than take money. My goal would be to mix and match what I have to what somebody else might have as surplus to needs.

Depending on what PC card somebody might have, I would also be willing to add a new actuator (boxed 18") to the polarmount and/or a 1m CM reflector (not new) with some feedarms once I've pulled them from the pile of spares in the shed.

Why would you require an unused 6033 ?

Ok, no interest for swop, so £50 with about £7.50 delivered (inc insurance) to mainland UK.

I also have a 1m reflector and arms (not new but in reasonable condition) which would have to be collected from the Hampton Court area. - yours for £25.

Somewhere in the shed I also have one of those triple feed arm assemblies for the same reflector, £20 plus whatever it costs to ship, pictures to follow.

Picture of the triple feed assembly. I also have two feeds for same, eight bolt-hole fitting so receive only. These do not have the cover on them nor the split spacers to clamp down, but I would envisage whoever is interested will use a standard LNBF as a starter, and acquire the other bits as needed.

Everything CM mentioned above £80 collect from KT8 (Hampton Court is nearest known landmark), but for £100 I'll throw in a brand new 18 inch actuator.

All you will need to get up and running fixed or motorised would be a 3 inch ground or wallmount, plus an hour to clean and lubricate

Blimey, this is only the second time I've seen these multi-feed brackets. Rare as hens teeth.

Not interested in the dish but will take the rest if it's on offer.

When could you collect ? (£90 without reflector and I'll look for some more bolts and pieces tomorrow afternoon).

How much would it cost to get it delivered to Sheffield? I see you mentioned delivery in one of the above posts.

I estimate a large sized suitcase to cover the feed assembly as it is the longest item. The rest should fit around it if I flatpack the other boxes

What size cartons does your courier supply for collections ?

Probably easier if I collect, I am working at Chigwell next week. If you can PM me your detail I will arrange time and day to suit you. Would you prefer cash on collection or paypal?

Chigwell ? collection from Moonbase' Moonbase (Purley) was under half the distance by normal road routes. Don't attempt it through the smog despite the satnav recommendation.

Never really thought about the funds to be honest, not on Paypal but the wife is (so I'll get nothing after 'fees')

I am not sure why my location is of any relevance for a journey from Chigwell to West Molesey, it is not on the route. Personally, if I were driving from Chigwell to West Molesey I would come round the M25 either clockwise or anti clockwise to the M3 junction and take the M3 London bound until the A308 then take the right turn off the A308 to Hampton Court and use local roads to get to West Molesey.

Having said that, I have fixed the kettle and satellite hobbyists are always welcome to pop in for a proper strong cup of tea if they are passing by.

Your launchbase was the last location I collected satellite equipment from and at 45 minutes drive each way, it was on the cusp of what I would consider worthwhile (based on the alternative cost of shipping), tea notwithstanding.

Chigwell to Hampton Court is over double the distance and so outside consideration unless I had multiple collections en route, a bit awkward on the M25.

A saving of some 9 miles however can be achieved by exiting the M25 at Staines(A30) junction to cut down through Sunbury via Walton on Thames, where you are then already on the correct side of the river.

Found the main reflector bolts that hold it to a backplate, plus a couple of 6mm thread bolts for the side arms.
No use to Pipedream so these can go with the reflector to another member.

I can throw in a second hand polarmount assembled £40 as it stands (I think I mentioned this to Maurist, with images but I've no longer got them on the PC) but if I find more to put a steerable system together the price may change.
