For precious metal content and construction prowess, the Cheyenne knocked the spots off its sucessor. I must have replaced eight transformers in the Montereys that I installed before giving up on the importer, followed by 20+ in for workshop repair when they were brought in as either 'grey import' material or when the installer fell out with the official importer over 'warranty upgrades' costs inside the guarantee.

The Cheyennes never missed a beat.
