Think I've spent enough money on this one now but was wondering though looking at these norsat lnb's they have square ends so I take it you have to use some sort of block between lnb and feedhorn.

The picture above on the right is a actual picture of what I have here.

Is that block any good to use ?

Cheers

The placing of the screws is the same. That should be enough to mate the flanges.
What worries me though is how to obtain the correct version in voltage switching mode, in order to avoid using a polariser and the receiver to drive it.

At the moment what sorst of signal leval do you get on horizontal showtime & ADD transponders and what LNB are you using on it

Hi guys, yeah I've only got a cheap sat meter which is not very good

Keano I have a Satlook Micro + meter & I'll happily come across to give you a hand if you're interested. I want a big dish for Showtime myself so any practise I can pick up in advance will be great.

M8 at the mo its very much border line.

I have about 1%-2% to play with, and thats just showsports.

ART sports is a no go at the mo, it was coming in before Christmas during the evening.

Do you think the dish being so close to ground level is having a negative effect ?

@Licinius m8 you or any other member is welcome to come to my house, just pm me when you are free, for me though it will have to be weekend due to work.

Thanks guys
