I have the cash but not the space to put it.

Nice dish but can always be bought later on as they are still manufactured.

Depends really what it goes for, there is a very limited hobby demand for dishes of this size in the UK. Would love a dish of that size to play with, but like most, really don't have anywhere to put it and the neighbours definitely would object.

I agree.
Even though it was armless, the face was worth that to even a junior enginer.

Good purchase :)

Check out the actuators on the second picture (they would NEVER elevate it, for long, with that design)

and the text

'Professional satellites like this can not be bought by home users, you must provide proof that you are connected to the business i.e. Broadcast companies or shop owners. This cost me £2475 two years ago from ****sat'

The irony - this is a receive only system, why the exclusivity, or the original pricing ?

Yeah that is completely bull, you don't need a license to buy a Andrew 2.4m dish or being in the trade.

Trade price today for that 2.4m is $2231 including AZ/EL mount and LNBF kit.

LOL, yes m8. The first two vids were quite good, but you could only watch them once!

SSStore certainly do know how to charge don't they. The P&P is a joke too.

Still, good luck with the adaptor plate. Post some pics when you're done.

Aren't most U.K stores a rip-off in charging costumers?
