If I remember correctly it is on PAS 10 68.5 east in C band on transponder 3974 hor 3/4 19500 scrambled powervu! The signal at your location would require a 3.0 mtr dish etc.

Additionally on Apstar at 76.5 east on c band on 3705 vertical 6111 3/4 you have central news asia this I also recieve but is generally a much weaker signal its free and covers asia pretty well

Both require at least a 3.0 mtr dish at your location I would suggest

I hope it helps

Hi oldsatellite,
Thanks for your answer. Well if i understood well i need a very big dish and also a membership for watching CNN ASIA. There isnt any other carrier closer to me? And what about the second satellite? is there the CNN ASIA or just news of Asia?
Thanks again

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 24-Jun-02 AT 08:15 AM (GMT)]The channel News Asia is a full time news channel- I have watched it from interest at my location ( Belgium 3.7 mtr) I travel to asia freqently on business I use it to check the local information. It is free and may serve your needs?

But yes at your location you need at least i believe a 3 mtr (solid) for good signals the ERP is generally around 36 db for most of the provided coverage area. lower parts of Europe, Middle East and Asia.

A far as I know there is only the CNN asia on 68.5 east Pas 10 and also it would appear on NSS at 21.5 west but as before on PAS10 in Powervu. and also once again only on c band
