confused

I have a GoldVision Magic Titanium,
I got an RS232 cable and hooked the receiver with the computer. I also downloaded the boxloader and it says connection established.
Now I am just a beginner and I have some couple questions...
First, I wanna watch TPS, the codes change everyday, so how do we enter them ?
How can I upgrade my receiver, I think I need .bin files for that. but all i can see is Humax, Asscom, Dreambox ... which one I need for my receiver??
Finally, what are cams ???

THANKS YOU VERY MUCH FOR THE WEBSITE
I DOWNLOADED THE SUITABLE FIRMWIRE TO UPDATE THE RECEIVER. WHEN IT WAS DONE UPLOADING AND IT SAID "good" ON THE RECEIVER, I HOOKED IT UP WITH THE TV BUT IT'S NOT WORKING ANYMORE, NOR THE MENU. THEN I TRIED TO CONNECT IT WITH THE COMPUTER AND IT SAYS ERROR. WHAT CAN I DO ??? THANKS

ummm that's not what i really meant...
the receiver is "locked"
it gives me an 88:88 !!!!
it doesn't wanna connect to the computer neither!

I assume you have re-booted your receiver as you don't say.
Pull plug out for a least a minute, and then plug back in.
