As you do not say what receiver you have nor is it in your system profile you will have to excuse people if they do not reply to you({})

Normally is is either a standard RS232 (9 pin to 9 pin) or a null modem cable
it is however receiver dependant (and only you know that).

Hello, thank you very much indeed for your help. My receiver isTechnomate TM-5500 CI Plus. The cable you've just told me is exactely the same as the one in my receiver's manual. Do you know where and can find it?

I do not know which you need for the Technomate but for null modems try here

http://www.maplin.co.uk/Search.aspx?criteria=null%20modem&menu=0&WorldSearch=Y&doy=19m5&ShowPics=true

and std rs232

http://www.maplin.co.uk/Search.aspx?criteria=9%20pin%20rs232&menu=0&WorldSearch=Y&doy=19m5&ShowPics=true

But only you know if you need male to female or female to female

Make sure before you buy, that way you will not come back and blame me if you select the wrong one

There is a connector 9pin on the back of my receiver.

My CPU does not have a USB port its very old. But it has a connector 9pin as well just like the one in the back of my receiver which is used to connect the mouse.
