Hi Everyone,

If I was to buy a smartcard reader/programmer for my PC and bought a blank Smartcard, would it be possible to copy my existing sky subs card so I have 2 copys?

I'd be happy to see a cam that would support the Sky Card if only so I could watch/PVR record ITV, CH4 & five. Unfortunately I understand this is only possible through Sky's own internal digibox cam. I'd be interested if anyone could explain what is so special about their internal cam and if those now watching Sky Sports in Italy have to have a Sky Digibox or are using some special cam for Videoguard.

There are videoguard cams available - they are for the Nordic services on 5E. They were ferociously expensive though - and the discussion I saw a while back suggested they were tweaked for their system only.

That's interesting.

Didn't they also produce a CAM for use in South America?
