A couple face charges after they started making love on a freezing platform at Munich railway station.
Theresa Plavel, 21, from Germany and Michael Ladovic, 19, from the former Yugoslavia, were saying goodbye in a waiting room.
One of the passengers told German media: "It was getting out of hand and one of the women in the room left to call the authorities, and seconds later he stood up and just pulled down her loose fitting trousers just like that.
"They were really going for it, it's given a new meaning to 'one for the road'."
A police transport officer called to the scene had to separate the pair and force them to dress. Both were cautioned and face fines for having s_x in a public place.
A police spokesman said: "In extreme cases a jail sentence of up to a year is possible but in this case because of their age they will most probably just get a fine."
