Is it possible to have CT100 coming in from dish and then to join to Co-axial to get to receiver. I cant do a compete run of CT100?

You might get away with a very short run of normal coax, but I would not advise it, you leave yourself open to high signal loss and potential interference.

Depends how far in from the dish you mean. A couple of metres? Ten meters?

Physically possible (CT100 is coaxial BTW), but if your existing cable is a plain old TV downlead, you're going to attenuate the signal too much.

Run the receiver at the end of the CT100 and then use the existing UHF cable as (God) intended.

However, you can't always get F-Plugs and barrel joiners to fit properly onto normal TV coax - if that happens then get some PLG62 plugs from Grandata (http://www.grandata.co.uk/). See below.

These will fit onto CT100 but have the normal "IEC" TV coax plug at the mating face.

If you do this, make sure you use an all-metal TV coax joiner - not the ones with plastic bodies!

Note: Grandata are a very cheap source for all sorts of aerial/sat connectors, including barrel connectors - typically, a bag of 10 is around £1 + P&P & VAT
