A couple of new ones logged this morning AO85 (Fox1A) with similar telemetry to what Ponti has logged in the post above this one. Plus some signals from what Im pretty sure is a zombie cubesat! NO-44 (aka PCSat) was launched in 2001, and was declared dead in 2003. But its still transmitting on 145.825MHz when the illumination is good:

NO-44 (PCsat) – AMSAT Occasional blips were all that was noted as it went right over the top of me - typical one on the screengrab

Something is not setup right here. This is a scan of fox-1D 21:14 directly overhead I seem to be getting a good signal foxtelem sees nothing though. The problem is the passes are so infrequent is is not possible to experiment with different settings.Maybe I need more signal strength Hopefully someone will spot the problem.

If you have had foxtelem off then you may need to go into the left hand tab I think it is & start the decoding. Thats caught me out once. If its not on that tab its up on the top menu bar. Its quite obvious when you find it. Cant have a loook direct atm as the wxsat/cubesat computer is off this evening as the damned Orbitron sat changed has stopped working.

Not there yet.I get a good signal on the overhead passes I nearly get the eye.Nothing saved though.I am beginning to wonder if I need more signal. The clips are from the near overhead 1 D pass 10:24 this morning.

What audio sample rate are you using on the vac? ATM I using my 137MHz wxsat antenna and getting plenty of packets decoded from 1D despite the frqequency mismatch

I have set it to 48000Hz.hopefully that was the problem. The first near pass to test it is 1A 4am tomorrow.Clip is as it was set.

Fingers xd .

One of the advantages of these types of threads on the forum is that when we inevitably need to set up from scratch again on a future computer the clues to get it working are here. :) I still refer back to some of Vipersans threads on occasion for tips & ideas. :) It was one of his threads that inspired me to build a new(er) computer a few weeks back.

I agree with that.I often go back to earlier images and go to threads to reinstall programs. In fact when you posted that help full post about the vac properties I had just installed a clean image from 2016 no Wx,cube or nass software installed the next job was to install all the software using the install threads.I had just got that image updated,Reimaged it.Then went back to the latest image to look at the vac properties.

No joy yet.I have spotted something else that I have missed.perhap that is the problem.I had not pasted the log file address to the end of the short cut target.the folder is amsat log.No good passes for a while to test it.Though there are two 1D wide passes tonight I will try those.20:22 and 21:57.I could be on the wrong track of course it would not be the first time.:)

Next target cubesat is Amateur Radio bird JY1Sat from Jordan. (Also designated JO-97) Launched earlier this week as part of the 60 odd cubesats on the Falcon-X on Dec 3rd. Another one with imaging capability there is a dedicated dashboard for its telemetry

JY1SAT Launch Information and Dashboard

To save pulling all my wxsat gear apart again Im monitoring 145.855MHz via the Farnham sdr for now.

Foxtelem is started though I do change settings. The last one I changed DUV to auto. 1B comes a bit near me tomorrow.I will change it back to DUV and have a look round the settings.I will try restarting the decoder too

DUV is data under voice. Thats the low speed telemetry

Ive changed over to the high speed button in the input tab (you need to stop it running before you can change it) in the hope of getting an image off 1Cliff or 1D.

Problem is the high passes are so bloody infrequent its a long wait between tests!

I have tried DUV and Auto. Will now try High speed.I have not had monitor filtered audio ticked either. I do seem to get strong signals.I do not get the good eye diagram though. While looking at 145920 this morning I spotted a good signal at 145607 clicked on it got a very good eye diagram no idea what it was though.I have looked 145600 up in the past I think that it is a repeater

I am still plugging away at this.Still getting nowhere. When one of the Cubes Honours me by passing near me.I seem to be getting a good signal. The eye on foxtelem gets near lock but no lock,so no data download.Thinking that a new install of foxtelem may improve things I have tried that.Problem the system remembers previous settings.I have tried going back to an image with no WX or foxtelem installed. No dice I cannot get past a problem with foxtelem.java sound, pic below. Also the antennas that I have made and triedjava.jpg.
