Hi, After installing my Skystar2tv sat card on my computer and using my existing 1M dish and LNB Everything worked fine.....for a week and then for no apparent reason the dreaded "Cannot locate B2C2 MPeg2 Filter Audio/Video CTRL intrface," error code pops up for all channels.. After a week of searching and trying all possible solutions provided by your good selves and dvbviewer.com.
I upgraded my Dvbviewer TE to the Pro version 3.2.4 so that I had more options/control over things like Mpeg selection.
But nothing changed,
After a complete reinstall of the sky card (and then much messing around trying various SKYNET drivers 4.22 4.27 3.0 3.2 and other dvb progs the card worked again!!!!.....but only for a few days ......then nothing l
Setup4pc light is green and receives a good signal but no longer recognizes Network or orbital positions, no matter what satellite I point my Dish at.
If I do a scan it no longer picks up transponders/channels
My dish and LNB works perfectly with my Force receiver
Please Help

Seriously advise you to get the free ProgDVB from the aptly named www.progdvb.com.

DVBviewer is junk IMHO.

I have tried Progdvb, Mytheater and dvbdream as well as Dvbviewer TE/Pro

(All have worked at onetime or another)

I have also contacted technisat but still waiting for a reply

Thanks anyway guys. I have spent many many hours trolling through

Sky veiw card websites and forum looking for a solution I think I know more

about it now than technisat themselves

If I get no joy with Technisat Ill give a twinhan a go

Cheers

Before you give up - try the budget PCI card drivers on the Technotrend site.

Worth a go mate.

Luck

Cheers mate Sounds like a plan but how do I get the card to accept these drivers? Do I have to change the name of the driver file to SKYNET

Uninstall the card from device manager and when you re-boot point windows at the new driver file.

Haha no what I mean is, Sky card drivers are called SKYNET but the Drivers from Technotrend for the budget cards you said try are called TTCap46n, TTFEDVBn and ttHybrid.!! So I was wondering if I had to change the Name to get the Sky card to accept them?

Just unistall the card in device manager,

When windows says 'found new device' then go with the techno driver - and se if it likes it.

Dunno if you fixed this, but I would try some older drivers if I were you. I'll upload them here if you can't find them. 4.2.8 maybe.
