Which are the data grabbing frequencies on Eutelsat w3 and Hotbird
and also recommended software and which type of files
can be downloaded such as mp3s,pdfs and jpgs.

Well AFAIK it does not work like that, I have no personal experience but from what I have read you have no control over what you intercept in the stream and it is usually riddled with viruses and malware. As regards which software I am sure somebody will point you in the right direction
