on Channel 22 Crystal Palace, so I'm not getting any of the Sky news mux.

Connecting another stb confirms there is no issue with the outside, and even the signal level indicator in the box suggests the frequency is visible, at least as far as the tuner is concerned.

Changing the country ident makes no difference and I can't really adjust anything else (though I could muck around with the individual frequencies slightly)

Any ideas ?

Product ID is 7801

Software installed is 0.4.5 MH

Other threads suggest 0.4.7 software may fix this, but is this available ?

It might just be deaf like a pci dvb-t thing I have which is beyond taking the piss. Flat it aint.

The sagem might not be clamping the muck below ch21 properly.

I suppose you are using a group A aerial and no masthead.

Also if you ever need a group K for above Ch32 when they bring the new weaker dvb-t2 channels to Crystal Palace the Antiference TCX18BK does very well on Ch21-32 its surprisingly close to the old TX18A even on Ch21 - 23.

Maybe the clamping is too good, the roll off and the crap tuner combining to produce a null around Ch21-22 but at 200kW not very likely!!!

Not with Sagem.

Overloading due to muck below Ch21 and a strong reflection nearly in phase might be doing it, tried a variable attenuator?

Then the bin!

No satellite stuff for the moment (aside from a 43cm minidish that was on the house already), Samsung SyncMaster T27B550 Smart TV & Monitor, and a few computers...

Use the axe to open it and make winter pumpkin soup for the freezer.

I see Antiference have a TCX10BK at last. The XG9BK is great. Loads of XG in London. They must not be needed these days with ultra high power from the Palace and no need to worry about ghosting.

Those small ready made up log periodics would do a great job, not harmed by severe winds or snow in winter and not picking up interference from distant transmitters in summer.

Then when you get home at the end of the day you can say you had a great day putting logs on peoples roofs.

:-woohoo

Thanks, I hadn't thought of stuff below Ch21 causing trouble, but if so, the other box is unaffected, so it may be a rolloff issue

A shame as this box has a good hard drive and excellent (easy) recording/cue/review system within it.
