Is it possible to deinterlace a stream as you view it with progdvb? if not which dvb software can i use for this.

It certainly is possible with any DVB application, not jsust ProgDVB, provided the correct codecs are used as part of the graph. For instance, in increasing order of quality in my opinion, the Intervideo, Cyberlink and nVidia codecs can all deinterlace. However, some versions of the Cyberlink codec seem poorer at this than others so you may want to try the Intervideo or nVidia codecs if you have no joy with the Cyberlink. Reecent versions of the Elecard codec can also deinterlace with (alleged) hardware acceleration - just like the three other codecs but I've not tried them so can't vouch for this.
