A research project into digital TV has revealed that consumers are more willing to make the switch from analogue to digital once they understand what digital TV has to offer. The project, Go Digital, provided 300 trial households with free conversion to digital TV in a bid to examine social and marketing barriers to uptake of digital TV. Before the trial, around a fifth of all participants said they weren't interested in getting digital, compared to after the trial when 68% of the group said they would convert, with many others showing increased interest.
