to switch an existing analogue sat to digital, do I need to change something other then the receiver?

The above is another dumb question, and rather than continuing to waste everyone's time, can someone also please post me a link to somewhere the basics of satellite tv and diy are explained?

Thanks all,

The only other thng which may need changing is the LNB, which needs to be a universal, it may already be one if the installation was relatively recent.

Have a look in the Multisat and Dish setup section, plus digital systems, most, if not all of the information you are likely to need will be there.

Will move this to digital systems.
