Hi,

expanding my system a bit...
Has a switch that says Diseqc 2.0.
Is that compatible with DB?
ALso: a 4 lnb switch , but I´m only using two LNB. What should the setting be in sat.conf.

thing is that nothing works after I changed the settings, not even the on that worked before with the switch connected.

Please

OK,

i have two dishes and a DB7000

One pointing at Sirius 5E
one pointing Hotbird 13E

Both are working perfect with a direct connection, ie no switch.
When i connect the diseqc 2.0 switch, nothing works anymore.
The switch has 4 ins an one out, and i´m obly using the first two. The satfind utility doesn´t show the same highs as without the switch.

why, why why?!

any ideas?

what should the setting be in the setup?
Ís there any idiot-thing I´m missing?

I take it that you have gone back to the original satellite settings and fiddled with that until you are blue in the face.

That being the case, something is very unwell in your setup. I would backup everything using FlashWizard Pro 5.0 and/or DreamBoxEdit (for channels etc.), and then perform a flash erase. That should clear all your user settings. When you complete the boot, you'll have to setup language, diseqc, network and satellites (incl. scanning one) etc. You should then be able to restore all your channels.

If it doesn't work, you can restore the whole lot, and you're no worse off.

I think when I had a switch I had to use ToneBurst rather than full Diseqc
